Noel was born in 1955 in humble surroundings in the seaside town of Wanganui, New Zealand. He grew up on the ocean and land in New Zealand and left school at the age of 16 to go fishing full-time and has gone on to build global businesses in the all-natural organic food and wellness sectors supplying retail stores, restaurants, hotels and consumers around the world.

1971

Left School, entered seafood business full-time fishing for snapper, groper, tuna, shark, the journey began.

1972

Noel and his Father Jack Turner ventured into the Marlborough Sounds from Wanganui on the FV Annabella to explore the possibility of farming Green-Lipped Mussels.

1976

Noel pioneered the New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussel Industry. Noel along with a handful of other pioneers created the Green-Lipped Mussel industry in New Zealand. Farmed Green-Lipped Mussels for both the food sector and their anti-inflammatory properties for the nutraceutical sector.

1977

Noel was ahead of his time with his vision to produce an anti-inflammatory supplement for the health and wellness sector, he focused his energy on the gourmet food sector until the world caught up.

1981

Opened the first dedicated Green-Lipped Export Mussel Processing factory in Havelock New Zealand to export and supply consumers and restaurants around the world.

1982

Exported the first container of Green-Lipped Mussels out of New Zealand to the USA and the world.

1985

Moved to USA full-time to promote TURNER MUSSELS (gourmet NZ Green-Lipped Mussels).

1986

Was first company to BRAND a seafood item in a retail store "fresh case" in USA - TURNER MUSSELS. From 1986 to 2000, Noel visited over 15,000 restaurants throughout USA and Europe promoting the TURNER New Zealand Green-Lipped Mussels.

1987

Was first company to brand a seafood item on a menu in restaurants in USA - TURNER MUSSELS.

1988

Introduced and pioneered the whole shell TURNER MUSSELS to USA and Europe.

1991

Was first company to brand New Zealand Calamari in restaurants in USA - TURNER Calamari.

1994

Noel landed in Europe to market TURNER MUSSELS.

1995

Noel moved to Europe full-time to promote TURNER MUSSELS.

1996

Noel purchases Artesian Water Estate in Wanganui New Zealand to package high-quality silica-rich artesian water with a natural 8.1 PH for the world.

1997

Was first company to brand New Zealand King Salmon in restaurants in USA - TURNER King Salmon.

1998

Was first company to brand "100% live grass-fed, free-range" New Zealand beef in restaurants in USA - TURNER Beef.

1999

Noel entered the Green-Lipped Mussel Oil omega-3 supplement business.

2000

Noel went full-time developing, funding, formulating his TURNER Green-Lipped Mussel Oil Omega-3 Supplement.

2002

Noel opened first authentic ORGANIC 100% grass-fed free-range steakhouse in USA, TURNER New Zealand Steakhouse & Seafood house. Awarded 5-star 5-diamond status.

2008

Noel Turner launched his TURNER Green-Lipped Mussel Oil Omega-3 wellness product onto the USA, Europe and New Zealand markets.

2012

Noel launches his high-quality New Zealand FREZZOR Ultimate Wellness and Lifestyle Collection onto the global stage.

2018

For the protection, especially of children, Noel speaks out vehemently against food and beverages that are heavily processed by the industry. Therefore, it is obvious that Noel should also leave his mark on the beverage sector. In 2018 he introduced his 100% all-natural drinks to the world, FREEDOM Pure Focus, a vitamin C drink which is also suitable for children and FREEDOM Pure Vitality, a drink which gives natural, powerful energy through green tea extract from New Zealand.

2021

Noel launches his TURNER and FREZZOR Ultimate Lifestyle Collections into China.

Present

1971 to Present, Noel Turner continues with his vision of bringing the purest and highest-quality wellness and nutritional products from New Zealand to the world.
