Our story began in London in 1987 when we opened the Old Compton Cafe. We soon changed our name and became well renowned as Balan’s. We yearned for sunnier climates, palm trees and decided to move stateside in 1997. In 2008 we opened Balan’s Bar & Brasserie, located in the heart of Brickell.

In 2018 Balan’s was re-envisioned, completely renovated and brought back to its roots in a more refined way to reflect the vision of the second generation of Balan’s. Jonathan and Keva wanted to create a chic brasserie focusing on European cuisine & craft cocktails, a space that they as foodies can be proud of. It is important to create a space with a great vibe that also delivers on service and quality.

Balan’s is a chic brasserie, serving modern European cuisine & craft cocktails in a relaxed, yet sophisticated all day dining restaurant in the Brickell area.

You can dine in our outdoor Garden area, Terrace or alternatively in our London meets Miami dining room. Thursday – Saturday we have DJ, live music & entertainment for our guests to enjoy.
